About Self-Love Counseling

My name is Dustin Schulte, and I am the Owner of Self-Love Counseling LLC Inc.

I am a part of the LGBTQ+ Community. I am also an Adoptive Parent of my child.

I began my journey when I started my graduate degree as a mental health professional at the University Of Central Florida. I attained my Master of Social Work Degree in May, 2024.

I have experience with clients finding housing for unhoused individuals and families with mental health conditions and substance use and misuse disorders; I collaborated closely with the Homeless Services Network located in Orlando.

I previously worked for the Outlook Clinic in Downtown Orlando, working closely with adults with mental health conditions, medication, and therapy.

I have also worked as a mental health professional and a therapist at a public high school servicing Adolescents and their families.

I have experience in counseling for Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders. We meet with clients where they are to understand their choices and needs, and which areas of their functioning they want to work on first.

Where Our Journey Began

Current experience

I currently work with the Nuerodivergent mental health category of adult youth. I help clients who have Autism Spectrum Disorder, Dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, and Social Disorders.

I have experience using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Problem-Solving Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
